Now What!! You’ve Got a Friend…
At some point you will be ready to leave the orientation area and enter Second Life, which is referred to as “the mainland;” “main grid;” or simply “inworld.” And this may be a time to consider engaging ShaheraZade’s LifeSupport Services or not!
Depending your time and learning style, you can engage in the adventure of learning your way around just by trial and error - most everyone is ready and happy to help - or for a fee engage a Life Support Guide to short circuit learning time and have a “friend” guide you around!
To expedite your learning saving time and/or frustration, ShaheraZade has arranged for Personal Life Support Guides to be available as you get your Second Life started –saving time and frustration. Life Support Guides can be engaged at an hourly fee guiding new avatars one-on-one or in small groups of 2-3 people who want personal assistance as they step into their new Second Life.
Basic prices are pre-paid via Pay Pal in $RL or in Lindens through Second Life currency:
- $25/hr for one person;
- $15/hr EACH per 2 people;
- $10/hr EACH per 3 or 4 people.
Larger groups can schedule at $5.00 per hour per person but no skill learning can be guaranteed - we can promise lots of playful party fun and no doubt there will be incidental learning along the way!

- First Landing (Whadda I Do Now- BASIC Skills for Navigating and Using the SL Dashboard)
- Second Landing (Make New Friends - Interacting with Others - Participating in Group Events – Animations)
- Third Landing (Teleporting, Free and Linden Dollar Shopping, and Inventing Your Avatar Appearance)
- Fourth Landing (Managing Your Inventory, Landmarks, and Objects)
- Fifth Landing (Basic Building and Editing Objects)
- Sixth Landing (Advanced Building, Scripting and Editing of Objects)
