Exploring Upcoming ShaheraZade’s Credited-Courses and Workshops

The following courses and workshops are expected to be offered “inworld” at ShaheraZade beginning late Fall of 2008. Each course title below is being organized as fifteen hours of engagingly rigorous experiences while building a community for ongoing learning. Participants will be offered either the opportunity to have continuing education credits through Pepperdine and/or the option of simply auditing for their learning fun only. Workshop topics will also be offered as shortened events useful to participants but not structured to meet criteria for credits.

Voice-activated gatherings of Second Life Avatars in real time will be blended with purposeful internet-based group tools (e.g. voice threads, nings, vokis, chatzy, gliffy, blogs and google docs) into practical learning tasks ready for application in classroom curriculum.

All participants will have the opportunity to engage the services of a Life Support Coach to launch their new second life. Stay tuned for additional course and workshop titles, meeting new faculty, and signing up for unexpected learning adventures by subscribing to the RSS Feed for the RujiNing.

See Faculty for background and biographical information of all course and workshop instructors. If you are interested in being a faculty member leading either courses and workshops, see application information under Faculty or email Bernajean@DigiTale.us
