StoryKeepers is a special group for those interested in digital storytelling and exploring the craftsmanship of reading/writing of multimedia.
Ruyi Keepers is the general group meaning “as you like” for all those who are interested in ShaheraZade’s at-large community events and gatherings.

ShaheraZade was designed for “ruyi” hospitality meaning “as you like.” We want you to feel at home both learning and enjoying a world of friends as you step into second Life. We encourage you to make ShaheraZade your “home location” which will land you “inworld” into her lovely gardens where you can find others or simply teleport to the many other main grid locations that will be offered to you as a resource for exploring.
JOIN one or both of ShaheraZade’s Groups called StoryKeepers or Ruyi Keepers. Notices of special events will be sent to group members via email. You will be alerted to StoryCircle nights practicing the art of storytelling; media festivals sharing student work; and gathering with renown and unknown thinkers or futurists for Paideia dialogues. You can also expect creative, imaginative “Ruyi Nights” like bellydancing, live jazz performances, whale riding, particle dancing, scavenger hunts, pillow fights, and many more whimsical “as you like” events!
